I'm Rusty.
I never planned on starting a ministry.
In fact, after the death of my infant daughter, I never planned on following God.
But thank goodness His plan beat mine. It’s been a hard road that led me here, full of waypoints that I couldn’t understand at the time. But God has been sovereign through all of it.
And I see that now.
Read on to hear about my story, then let’s help you see yours.

Brittany was born
God blessed us with this perfect little Angel and it was love at first sight, but just shy of 11 months later I found myself in the horrific situation of trying to breathe life back into her on the nursery floor. I was furious with God for taking Brittany, and that was the beginning of a very dark season in my life.

Tragedy
Thanksgiving morning in front of the kids and myself, my beautiful wife and their amazing mother, suffered a severe hemorrhagic stroke. Once I heard what we were up against, I did it again, and blamed God. You can hear the whole story in my social media videos, but once again, God refused to give up on me.

God sent a messenger
God sent a special messenger to my front door a couple of days into this second and even darker season I was entering. I felt him touch and comfort me and speak to me in the most eloquent words that have ever entered my ears, through Charlie our 85 year old neighborhood night security guard. God has been very patient with me my whole life and especially over the last 3 1/2 years. Now He has put this project on me to go and testify to His Greatness, and bring glory to His perfect son Jesus.

God shows me a compass
During my morning prayer time, really more like morning conversations time with our Amazing Father, He put Christ My Compass on my heart and I am following His lead. Thank you for visiting our website (God & me) as well as our social media feeds. I appreciate you all and may God bless your paths as well.
